TED
MUNDORFF JOINS LANDMARK THEATRES AS
VICE PRESIDENT, HEAD FILM BUYER
January 13, 2004 (Los Angeles). Ted Mundorff has been appointed Vice
President, Head Film Buyer at Landmark Theatres, it was announced by
Bert Manzari, executive vice president of Landmark Theatres. He will
be responsible for all booking and buying in the Landmark circuit.
Mundorff was previously
at Pacific Theatres for twenty-six years, serving most recently as vice
president of film. He is credited with conceiving, shaping and implementing
the highly successful Grove Theatres policy of playing both specialized
and studio film releases. This aggressive booking policy propelled the
theatre into one of the most highly sought after cinemas in the U.S.

Mundorff said, Its
been a longtime goal of mine to head up a film department for a leading
specialized film exhibitor so its an honor to join Landmark at
this time as the company continues to expand into new markets.
Mundorff starts
his new position at Landmark on January 14 and will join the Landmark
team at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
Landmark Theatres
is the largest specialized film exhibitor in the country. The company
opened the eight-screen luxury complex E Street Cinema in Washington
D.C. on January 9 bringing the companys total number of the theatres
to 57, on 204 screens in 18 markets. Landmark has been dedicated to
