Sony Pictures Entertainment will continue to distribute screeners on a case-by- case basis. Piracy is of paramount concern to the industry. The studio will continue to explore the most effective means to combat the real threat posed by this criminal activity. We understand that this process and the implementation of the MPAA policy has been disruptive and inconvenient to a large number of people who legitimately rely on screeners during this time of year. SPE will continue to refine our policy and address the appropriate distribution of screeners while doing everything reasonable and possible to protect our films in the marketplace.
