Day Four - Winona Cuts BackSynopsis: Thursday was the day when the defense knives came out. Mark Geragos accused former Saks security officer Colleen Rainey of throwing something at Winona, secretly selling her story for $50,000 and lifting numbers from Noni's personal phone book. Bono and Keanu... stars who rhyme when pronounced properly. The bloom was defintely off the rose. Virtually every story hinged on either the AP or Reuters reportage.

Day Three - New Footage! New Fashions!
Synopsis: The most shocking moment of the day was male press members trying to describe the detailing of Ryder's dress as somthing other than "pink & yellow." (Actually, Matt Drudge topped that.) And then there was the reading of Noni's List, the items she is accused of trying to steal and their prices. Almost half the cash value of the items was made up in four purses... and still, no valid form of payment to be found. Perhaps the defense will be that Winona was trying to hide the blood stains that she had left on some items. There was no reference to any "You Bleed On It, You Take It Home" rules at the store. There was some title testimony on Wednesday, with Shopgirl and White Jazz allegedly used as he titles of the films Winona claimed to be preparing for by shoplifting. However, Shopgirl, the Steve Martin novella being made into a film, features someone who works for the store. Ryder's publicist confirmed that Ryder was in talks for both films.
